Laser Tatoo Removal
Laser tattoo removal is a safe and effective way to fade or remove unwanted tattoos using advanced laser technology.
During treatment, the laser targets the ink particles in the skin, breaking them down into smaller fragments. These fragments are then naturally cleared by the body over time, leading to a gradual lightening of the tattoo.
This treatment is suitable for:
• Small to medium tattoos
• Older or faded tattoos
• Tattoos with dark or stubborn pigment
• Clients looking to lighten a tattoo before cover-up work
Laser sessions with Dr Martha are tailored to each client’s skin type, tattoo colour, and depth to ensure a safe and controlled fading process
How does the advanced laser technology work for tattoo removal?
The laser emits concentrated light energy that is absorbed by the tattoo ink particles, causing them to shatter into tiny pieces. These microscopic particles are then naturally removed by the body’s lymphatic system.
Is the procedure painful?
Most patients describe the sensation as similar to an elastic band snapping against the skin. We use cooling technology and can offer topical anaesthesia to maximise comfort during the gentle, doctor-led approach.
How long should I wait between tattoo removal sessions?
A rest period of 6 to 8 weeks is necessary between sessions. This allows the body’s immune system enough time to clear the shattered ink particles and allows the skin to fully recover before the next treatment
